Eko-Yol was founded in 2012 and joined the quest for the best ways to expend the life of the asphalt pavement by developing a long-lasting pavement preservation product, without sacrificing the environmental issues like, greenhouse gas effect.
In this endeavor, Eko-Yol joined PolyCon, an American company which was a manufacturer of a promising product named E-Krete, a polymer-based overlay.
Eko-Yol entered into a cooperative research and development agreement with PolyCon.
After, acquiring the rights for E-krete PCMO, Eko-Yol enhanced and advanced the material then, patented it under the name of Eko-Seal HPPCO.
Today, with our Canadian research and development departments, we have advanced our products by investing in engineering and scientific practice.

Eko-Yol’s Placer & Spreader
Eko-Yol’s high volume placer & spreader is built to achieve maximum efficiency in placing and spreading. Our system is fully automatically controlled and equipped with an automated cooling system to extend the setting time for cement in high temperature weather conditions.
The adjustable placer travels down the road placing a 3.25 mt/ 10.6 ft or 3.84 mt/12.6 ft wide lane of rate of 25 to 30 square meter/minute and 10 Km./day. The trailing brush creates friction numbers ranging from the mid-40s to the mid-50s, gives a high friction long-lasting pavement preservation material. It is ideally suited for asphalt and chip seal roads.
Eko-Seal HPPCO® Friction TEST.
The site was approximately 300 feet in length, A performed multiple tests at 40mph. The site reported an average FN number of 51.1, a high FN of 51.8 and a low FN of 50.4.
It is our professional opinion that the Eko-Seal HPPCO® has safe and desirable friction values for use on highways.
The Skid Number of the pavement surface is measured using ASTM E 274 “Standard Test Method for Skid Resistance of Paved Surfaces Using a Full-Scale Tire”.
